Such a wonderful and cozy condo. The views from the balcony are amazing. I would definitely stay again. The owner communicated very quickly with any concerns.

We loved our stay at the Hula Hideaway. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The place was in the perfect location close to several of the best beaches in West Maui. The place itself is even more beautiful than the photos. It was so relaxing being able to call this place home for a few days. We will definitely be back!

This condo was perfect. So clean and beautiful. We saw so many sea turtles right off the lanai. It was also very quiet. We loved it being right on the water. Very close to many nice beaches and restaurants. We had the best week here!

Wow just Wow! From the moment we arrived at the Hula Hideaway we felt right at home. So many thoughtful, personal touches that made the condo even more special. And that view....INCREDIBLE! We spent a ton of time just sitting out on the lanai. The condo is quiet and peaceful. We loved the location...not too busy. I’ve stayed in Kaanapali and Kihei before and hands down like Kahana the best! A quick walk to the pool and often times there was no one there, so we had it all to ourselves. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and the washer and dryer were super handy! The Hula Hideaway staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is just a short walk away...beach, groceries, yummy coffee shop and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back :)

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful and we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Not to mention the view! It’s right on the water, so I got to have my morning coffee with sea turtles and whales and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves every night. My only complaint - having to leave.

We have stayed other places on Maui & this is THE best yet! The pictures do not do it justice, you have to see for yourself what a beautiful location and property this is! Everything is so clean, perfectly stocked, and truly amazing. This is located close to beautiful beaches & our favorite restaurants we drove just minutes to. The communication from the Hula Hideaway staff was excellent, very attentive & above & beyond helpful. We just got back and are already recommending Hula Hideaway to all our friends and family. We’re planning on booking our next family vacation at one of the Hula Hideaway properties that’ll accommodate our kids. Thanks for helping make our 25th wedding celebration trip so fabulous with this gorgeous place we stayed at!!

This condo was perfect for our needs. It was a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of resorts, but convenient to many stores, restaurants, and hikes. We watched whales and sea turtles from the lanai every day! Every need was thought of. Thank you for a wonderful stay and our thoughts and prayers are with Lahaina as they heal and recover. Mahalo!

This place is special. The views are hard to put into words. You will not be disappointed. We found ourselves ordering takeout just so we could eat by the water!

Leading up to our stay, I'd reached out to the HH team to surprise my gf (now fiance) by decorating the unit with flowers and balloons and wine, and they absolutely nailed it. The unit had everything we needed and the views were spectacular. The sea turtles greeted us almost every morning and the whales even paid us a visit during our stay. This was easily the best experience I've had at a vacation rental. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

This is a charming little unit with an unsurpassed view and wonderful decor. Very romantic getaway with a quiet location. Clean unit with extras included and relatively close to all amenities. You will feel very much like you are on your own little island in this unit. The only negatives would be the pool on the property is not heated and the washer and dryer need a little attention. I think they were just off balance but very noisy. Everything else was spot on!

This was our second time here. This place is pure perfection. Clean, comfortable furnishings, stylish, beautifully appointed. The view when you walk in takes your breath away. We will be back.

This was the last of 3 places we stayed in Maui and by far our favorite. The condo is well designed, incredibly clean, and a nice distance from the overcrowded areas of west Maui. The owners and management company were very professional and great with communication. While you are unable to walk directly out of the building and onto a sandy beach, you still have an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean and sunsets. We'll definitely be returning!

Hula Hideaway is everything all previous reviews say. Beautiful unit, beautiful views, you have to stay here to appreciate everything about it.

This beautifully updated condo on the ocean was a wonderful stay. The unit has everything you can imagine needing included. Felt like home away from home. Situated right in front of the ocean, the ocean views can’t be beat. Property management east to reach & very helpful.

Just as nice as it looks in the photos but the view from the deck is even better.

This was an amazing experience that my partner and I will never forget. Everything was 5 stars. We can't wait to stay at the Hula Hideaway again. Highly recommend!

Wow, truly one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed at. First off it’s clean! Second, you are on top of the water. Going to sleep and hearing the waves crashing was blissful. We even saw turtles in the water from our balcony! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you HulaHideaway!

We stayed 3 weeks at this glorious unit. It is even better than the pictures. The unit was well stocked, spotless and wonderfully decorated. The lanai was our favorite part and we spent hours watching the whales and turtles. We can’t wait to come back and would definitely stay here again.

We are repeat renters. HulaHideaway was so perfect before the renovation that I wondered how it could possibly be better. I was even a bit concerned I would not like the "new" place. What a surprise! It is updated, with a gorgeous new bath, kitchen, and floors. It is pristine, ultra clean, and absolutely beautiful. We love eating breakfast and dinner out on the lanai to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, surfers, sea creatures and beauty beyond compare. We could not get onto internet because of a change in sign-in and the management team arrived immediately and promptly took care of the problem. Everything about arrival, check-out, and the entire stay was effortless and perfect beyond description.

This is the most romantic suite we have ever stayed at, perfect for our 20th wedding anniversary celebration along with my honey surprising me with a wedding vow renewal in Mama’s Fish House beach. From the booking of this property to our last day, it was so easy and pleasant. The room is even more stunning in person than the pictures, a huge balcony with turtles below galore. Everything you could possibly need have been provided. The communication with the Hula Hideaway staff was stellar. Very professional and courteous. This was our first time in Maui and definitely will not be the last.

We escaped to Hula Hideaway after a busy spring season with our business. It's quiet, private and the views are incredible. The condo is decorated beautifully and well stocked with anything you could need.

My wife thought the decor was perfect. She wouldn’t have changed a thing. She would move there if it had two bedrooms and space for her kids/friends. The unit is as advertised. It was clean, comfy, and right on the water. It was what we were hoping it would be based on the reviews we had read. We enjoyed sitting on the Lanai and watching the sea turtles or just watching the waves. My wife even spotted a whale from the Lanai. The only downside is there is no beach directly in front of the unit but you can find one about a 1 minute walk to the north. We found that a positive as it meant it was nice and quiet in front of our Lanai. The beach was right up our alley as well. Nice and quiet and not too many people. We had one entire half of the beach to ourselves. It was perfect for the 2 of us and we would book the unit again in a heart beat. If you want to be in the center of the action this unit may not be for you but we did find several eating options within a 5 min walk.

I have been to many many Airbnb’s in Hawaii, and soooo far this was the best one, the incredible view we saw whales and turtles from the lanai, the bed was so so comfortable (I got the name of the mattress because I want the same in my house) se sunset and sunrise, it was just so relaxing to watch from the lanai and at night you can hear the waves... the place is all decorated and well-appointment has everything you need and much more, as a speaker to lemon squeezer, Netflix cut mugs, we stayed for Valentine’s and we loved it, best place to eat was fleetwood’s on front St. we definitely gonna go back. This place is a hidden gem! It's a cute little studio that very well decorated in beach theme. Absolutely perfect for a getaway with hubby. The million dollar views make up for the lack of sandy beach front. Whale & turtle watch while eating breakfast or lunch. I will definitely come here again. Jill is wonderful to work with and checking in-out is super easy!

This was beyond my expectations. Brand new, clean, top of the line everything, ridiculously comfortable bed, huge television with everything you could think of available, huuuuge lanai overlooking the ocean and waves crashing right underneath your place all night long. And a perfect location as well. Can’t say enough about Hula Hideaway.

We had the most magical time, the condo is beautiful and so thoughtfully put together. The décor was new and perfect. We loved the personal touches through out. This was our second time staying at Hula Hideaway in the last 8 years and anytime we go to Maui this is where we will stay.

We had a fabulous week at the Hula Hideaway! The view from the lanai is to die for...you are on sitting right on top of the ocean without another person or condo in sight. It’s just you, the sunset and even a rainbow on our last day! We cook a lot and the condo kitchen had everything we needed and more. Amazing property!

The Hula Hideaway is where Zen meets the ocean! The space is exactly as shown in the pictures. Every small touch and decor is well thought-out to create a fun and relaxing space to spend vacation.

The Hula Hideaway was very clean and well-maintained. All the essentials are supplied, the kitchen has every basic thing needed to cook, which we did daily. It was so nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear for use. We loved going to the local beaches daily to hang out and snorkel, which was amazing!

We spent our mornings reading on the lanai enjoying the sounds of the waves, and watched the sunset on the lanai nightly because it literally was the most amazing viewing spot!

It was close enough (5-10 min drive) to restaurants, bars and the beaches, but far enough away to escape the craziness of the resorts and tourists.


Jill was easy to contact with questions and responded very quickly. The Hula Hideaway will always hold special memories for our first time on the island.

Hula Hideaway is an adorable, romantic, and comfortable unit. It is decorated so cute. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and for us, this unit had everything we needed to be comfortable, cook breakfast, and hit the beach. Our only complaints might have been that the screen door could use some maintenance or replacing- it is pretty hard to shut at times, a bit rickety. The latch broke off after the third day there. The apartment gets VERY hot by the afternoon, some blackout curtains would probably make sense for this unit. We figured out our method though, to keep the place cool. Shades shut and air conditioning unit on was helpful. Just know you are staying in an apartment complex just off of the street, not in a neighborhood or small resort or anything. No complaints from us, but I would describe this experience as casual.. like you are not located on beautiful grounds or anything. The surrounding area is wonderful though, it is in a great central location with corner stores and grocery close by, it's within minutes to dozens of great snorkeling spots and beaches. Restaurants all over the place. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here. All the amenities we could have asked for, beautiful view.

My Hubby and I stayed 4 nights and LOVED them all. From the moment we walked in we were in absolute AWE. The condo is beautiful and serene. The kitchen has all the necessary items to make breakfast, lunch and dinner; if you wanted to eat all meals in. There are plenty of items on hand for beach days and nice beaches are just a short drive or walk away. We did utilize the pools across the street on a few afternoons and enjoyed them both. There is no elevator, which is not a bother to us, but to some it might be as it is on the 3rd floor and the stairs can be steep for some. The lanai was amazing, to say the least. Beautiful sunsets every night and sea turtles and crabs galore! Management is great at communicating and was extremely accommodating. We will be back again!

There’s a reason the Hula Hideaway has a 5 star rating, it is the perfect getaway rental. It is exactly as pictured with a cozy, welcoming feeling. It is stocked with all the amenities of home & everything you need to enjoy the beach, including a cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards just to name a few. The icing on the cake though is by far the patio with a view! You have your own private patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or have a glass of wine while watching the sunset, it is the perfect treat for a Maui vacation. The location of the condo is great as well, just a few minutes drive from a number of beaches and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. A couple of our favorites we walked to are Hawaiian Village Coffee and Maui Brewing Co. :)

Really enjoyed having our Kona coffee on the lanai every morning before heading out for the day. After a full day of adventure, the sound of the oceans waves would lull us into sleep.

Cozy space with personal touches, ocean view (with lots of whale and sea turtle sightings), all the amenities you could ask for, quiet neighbors, great location...the list goes on!

We were so happy when we arrived, the condo looks even better than the gorgeous pictures. We are on the lanai each morning and saw whales! And on our last day a few turtles swam up right below us.

The bed is super comfy and the sound of waves made for relaxing, great nights sleep. We only heard the neighbors if they left out their front doors, otherwise we heard no one and it was super peaceful.

We will definitely stay here again when we return to Maui.

We were celebrating our 23rd Anniversary early and what a treat this was. The condo feels like you are away from everything, but its all just a short drive away. The furnishings and decor are amazing. We saw whales off the lanai almost daily during our visit. And just as we were leaving a few sea turtles swam right up to the sea wall.We heard almost none of our neighbors unless we had the windows open and they were coming or going.If we are fortunate enough to return to Maui we will definitely stay here.

Hula Hideaway is everything promised and more. Everything you could need in a rental space including a very comfortable bed!!! The building and unit was very clean and quiet. And the view........unreal......seriously. We will stay here again and recommend it highly to all of our friends, and to anyone else who might read this. You won’t find a better spot.

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing week at the Hula Hideaway in Kahana, situated perfectly between the busy and active Ka'anapali/Lahaina area and beautiful Kapalua. We were blown away by the views from the lanai, as we saw whales breaching, turtles swimming by the rocks below us, amazing sunsets, and enjoyed lovely mornings eating breakfast and sipping coffee and afternoons relaxing. The condo is perfectly equipped with all we needed - from laundry to dry the swimsuits and towels to a full kitchen to help save money on meals and even beach gear like chairs and snorkels. The bed was so comfortable, and it was incredible to be able to sleep to the sound of the ocean just feet away from us. We will recommend this to all our friends looking to stay in West Maui and will absolutely be back!! It is the perfect little getaway spot. We came to Maui for our 25th anniversary and the Hula Hideaway was the perfect place to stay. We were able to see a couple whales in the distance and even turtles one morning right below our room. The view from the balcony was awesome.
