It was amazing. Great communication and everything was setup for us when we arrived. The close access to a private beach was amazing!

My wife, three-year-old son, and extended family stayed for 3 nights in February 2026 and loved our time here. The location in Napili was perfect and the condo was immaculate from cleanliness, decor, amenities, scenery, you name it. Our favorite part was watching the whales and swimming at the private beach. Grocery stores and a few restaurants around corner made it very convenient. We loved visiting Napili and Honolua Bays which were a short drive away. Check-in and communication were seamless. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is excellent. We stayed for the next few nights at the Andaz and wish we could have stayed at Kahana Sunset longer. Would definitely stay again!

Right from the start of the booking process the host of Kahana Sunset C5 was very responsive and helpful with questions. We were travelling with our baby, and they were able to provide a pack and play, as well a booster seat. The unit it self was clean. It was as described in the ad. It is a little older of a unit, however that is to be expected. The view was absolutely amazing, and having the heated pool and beach just steps away was amazing! We were so happy with our stay and highly recommend this for a vacation spot. The grounds of Kahana Sunset are kept extremely clean and the staff always so friendly! We hope to be back one day.

We had an amazing stay at this rental! Perfect for 2 couples on a friend trip as the bedrooms are separated and both have their own bathrooms. We loved the location, lovely beaches nearby and amazing food! Very peaceful spot, away from large resorts/buildings. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and clean apartment. Perfectly stocked for our vacation so we had everything we needed for our stay. The walk to the beach was the perfect start to our day every day. Would definitely recommend to stay there for a quiet and peaceful Maui vacation.

We had a family reunion and rented 6 condos for July 9-16.
C5 was a very clean unit. It provided all the amenities needed. We requested a baby Pack-N-Play from management and they had it available when we arrived. Kahana sunset is a great resort- away from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful also for families. The private beach is great- calm waters and an occasional turtle. A great pool to at also has a kids pool- not many resorts provide this. The grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend this place- and we have to many other friends!

the location is perfect, just a short drive to the Kaanapali beach. the unit has plenty of room for 3. we didn't use the sofasleeper so i can't comment on the comfort. the unit is a 2 min walk to a small sandy beach and pool (temp was perfect). master bedroom has a lanai with a view. the bed was the best thing! so comfortable! I slept well every night. I even bought the coverlet when I came home. there are a couple of cons, but they were minor. the parking is tight but good thing there were open spaces if needed (one night someone parked in our space) but no biggie, we had to use another. the property wasn't full. there aren't many outlets to charge your devices but i think there was an extension cord to use. the bathrooms are upstairs. we enjoyed our stay!

Kahana Sunset will be our go-to place going forward. The unit was clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located to all that West Maui has to offer. Sweet papayas, bananas, and herb garden onsite complimented the home cooked meals. Though the beach has receded, we spotted turtles in the early morning :) and the sunsets from the lanai absolutely breathtaking and glorious. The property management staff was very responsive and reached out periodically during our stay to ensure our vacation was comfortable and our needs met ~ even if we had none as it was all perfect! We will definitely be back next year, if not sooner. Thank you again for making this 2024 Maui visit so memorable and special!

This was a great place to stay. Very homey. Owners responsive. Kahana Sunset very nice. However, the beach is receding over the past few years. Not the owner's fault, but a bummer since this was a big draw for us with little kids.

Kahana Sunset is a great location close to Napili and Kapalua. Also close to Napili Market and good restaurants. The unit was very nice with a good sized master and a small second bedroom upstairs.We could see the whales beaching in the distance from the lanai. Be sure to bring your own coffee, sugar, cream, tissues and hair dryer if you need one.

Had an amazing time in Maui and this condo was the perfect place for my family of five.

Our family of 5 stayed at C5 and it was such a great condo!! We had a great time on this property. We really enjoyed the beach on the property. Its close proximity to Napili Bay was perfect. We walked for coffee nearby at the Napili Coffee Store daily. The condo itself was very clean, beautifully updated and comfortable. The beds were great. We all slept perfect. I’d highly recommend this condo.

Amazing condo, steps away from the ocean. The condo was very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Our family had an amazing experience.

Clean, well supplied, attractive furniture and a view to enjoy for days. We wouldn’t change a thing!

Lots of room, accessibility to the pool is amazing perfect for the kids.
The place is really well appointed, modern furniture, super clean. Would highly recommend!

The hosts of this amazing property went above and beyond to make our stay in Maui absolutely amazing! The home is so clean, comfortable and well thought through. Everything worked well, the bed linens were so nice and the beds were comfortable! Having our children get a good nights sleep made each day so much more enjoyable. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool is crystal clear. We had the best time and truly enjoyed our stay. I can’t thank them enough for their generous assistance and superb accommodations.

Nice very clean condo with upstairs bedrooms with on suite bathrooms. Two nice lanai with some ocean view. Great pool and nice small beach on site.

My family of 5 enjoyed every single part of staying here on our vacation to Maui. It is a fabulous location, spacious, super clean and stocked with everything. We were incredibly comfortable during our stay and will absolutely stay again!

My family truly had a great time! The Kahana Sunset property and the unit we stayed in did the trick for us, it was nice.. Check-In and Check-Out was easy.. The unit had everything we needed to make our stay perfect, as well as our beach days (Chairs, cooler, etc)

The private beach was a huge plus as well. Many sea turtles were within a few feet of us which was awesome to experience.

For those wondering, there is a market less than a half mile away that has anything you could want if you need to stock up (Similar to grocery stores on the mainland). We did that versus going to Target/Walmart/Safeway near the airport..

Lahaina and the great restaurants on Front street were an easy 15 min drive away (Mala Tavern & Honu were really good)

Kapalua Bay and Baby beach (If you have toddlers) were definitely our favorite beaches. Coming from the central time zone our days started pretty early and we enjoyed it all. Great stay, we'll be back.

Great stay - property comes as advertised. Greta view from the balcony. Beach 25 steps away. Easy to park - close to many good restaurants and other beaches

Lovely grounds and view. Enjoyed the apartment. Host was very responsive to our needs. Master bath is small. Could upgrade here but overall the view and property is amazing. Loved our time here.

Good location, north of Kaanapali. Wonderful view. Easy walk down to a sand beach. The resort looked like it had just been completely re-done. Things were freshly painted, grounds were lovely. Looked like a large resort from the photos but it had a very nice, private feel.
